Burning oil

recently i bought a new rocker cover because my pcv valve was bad ,since then i have been burning oil because my throttle body has been sucking oil into the engine through the pcv valve and causing smoke through my tailpipe.noticed slight sucking pressure through the dipstick and oil cap .any ideas ?

Sounds like engine worn , nothing to do with the throttle body .Could be rings , valve stem oil seals worn .
