Vauxhall Astra missing/loss of power

when im accelerating it feels like theres resistance and its missing or fuel nots getting through. ive just spent 600 quid on it having the uplifters changed in the engine.TO MY UTTER DISMAY ITS STILL DOING IT... Any suggestions as to what else it could b. thanks

Some people call hydraulic tappets lifters / uplifters ,
