Sudden loss of power no warning lihts

2011 Vauxhall Astra J 1.7 cdti
Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2011
Variant: J 1.7 cdti
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
No end of problems with this car now with no warning I'm experiencing a sudden loss of power with no response from the accelerator and no warning lights. It's as if it's gone into limp mode. This has happened 3 times now the last being 70mph in the 3rd lane of the m62. Car eventually picks up as if turbo kicks in.also on one occasion it started shuddering and there was a knocking / rattling from the engine area

Regardless of no warning lamps I'd still get it scanned first.
Oh and it'd be a lot more helpful if you stated engine size and fuel type.

You have included car details as far as I can see , get it scanned with Tech 2 or equivalent and see what fault codes show .

Thanks for the advice it's booked in with main dealer as it's under warranty but doubt they will find anything as it's not throwing codes up .
