2010 Vauxhall Astra cut out now wont start

Astravan cut out now wont start or even turn. Done just over 60k miles. No noises,smoking or lights on dash to indicate a problem. Always serviced etc...is this a common fault as father in laws just done the same today!!! Same make age and model can as mine

Tried a jump start or tested battery voltage ?

Probably need checking with Tech 2 or similar to find failed CIM / Module / ECU .

any reading on the rev counter when cranking?

Garage are saying its a fault with the ECU but needs to go to main dealership to diagnose..i know very little about mechanics are vehicles. They cant see any fault codes but there is no power getting to the injectors?

^ Sounds right , about dealership with correct gear for scanning .

Dealer is a good idea but it does sound to me more like a power feed/relay fault.
Might be an idea to get an autospark to have a look see.

Local garage who recovered it for me had auto spark out to look today tested for a few hours and could find not fault...he said ecu?!

So looking like the ECU then.
Send it off to somebody like "BBA REMAN".
