If car has been serviced by Vauxhall dealership it would have been changed when due .If not , check your invoice for service and see what parts you got charged for .Unfortunately a lot of smaller places don't itemise their bills with parts fitted as should be done .Some " services " leave much to be desired and would not include changing fuel filter .

And would the fuel filter cause the spanner/service light to stay on? Thanks
