2010 Vauxhall Astra intermittent clutch loss

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2010
Variant: Astra J Sports Tourer
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
The mileage is 52000. The clutch works fine most of the time but occasionally (twice a week) the bite point drops to the floor and pedal doesn't come up. Lifting the pedal someone's sorts it. Normal position returns after about 30 minutes. No leaks, fluid levels ok. No clutch slipping.

Any ideas?

I've come across this a few times,
It's usually the concentric clutch slave cylinder,
Which means gearbox out I'm afraid.
