Electrical Issue

2008 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Design (Petrol)
Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2008
Variant: 1.6 Design (Petrol)
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
My car dashboard lights flash on intermittently ( spanner symbol, sometimes batter symbol, sometimes ABS symbol). Spanner one stays on constantly. It sometimes doesn't start at all, just a clicking noise when turning it over. Had RAC out 3 times, they told me to replace a corroded relay, which I did, then issue came back weeks later. Last one said it must be an electrical issue, as battery and alternator seem ok? He fixed it temporarily by disconnecting battery, leaving it 10 minutes then re-connecting, and it started. Do I need an auto electrician to look at it? If so, shall I take to a Vauxhall garage? Any other ideas would be most appreciated.

if battery alternator and starter have been checked and are ok i would check for a bad earth and also check chassis to engine earth lead if ok remove instrument panel and check multiplug connections are ok could also be a fault on instrument panel printed circuit
