Light comes on for four or five days goes off for four or five days sometimes it flashes, have had crankcase sensor changed no change can anyone suggest anything

Crank sensor failure usually causes none start . Unless you get it scanned and see what codes are shown you could end up replacing parts needlessly .

Save urself money and read codes urself. U could do pedal trick. With ignition off. Press brake pedal and accelerator down to floor together. Then turn ignition on but don't start car. Wait. And hopefully the spanner will flash. 10 means a 0. 1 is 1. 2 is 2 etc. U should get a 4 number code which u can google. If this don't work u have older ecu so need to do paper clip trick which u can google or youtube coz cant remember how its done. Then report back to us with ur error code and go from there.
