Engine misfires / loss of power

Hi All.
I have the new shape Astra 2010 Diesel.

When starting the engine it misfires, especially at start up feels like its going to cut out. I have the yellow engine light on (with spanner).

I also noticed a loss of power until I change gears.

I am not sure if this is also linked but the heaters take forever to warm up ?

Any help appreciated

Heater could be the thermostat stuck open .Could try changing fuel filter if you dont want to get it scanned to find out for definite what has triggered light .
