1998 Vauxhall Astra indicator kights stay on even after removing keys.

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 1998
Variant: 1.6 L 8v
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
I have an astra with an indicator light problem. The lights are staying on all the time on the passenger side of the car. Obviously this is draining the battery and also means that the car wont pas the MOT which is due soon. I cant understand why the indicator light are staying on all the time. The other side is working OK.

Hi Gents I managed to fix this one myself, The indicator switch was broken and needed to be replaced. I managed to get one from the local scrap yard for £4. The switch had failed and was allowing power to the indicator circuit from the full beam flash connections which are on the same switch. Took about 20 mins to replace They cost £18 plus vat new.
