2000 Vauxhall Astra headlights not working

When I drove home last night my head lights were working just fine.
This morning I only have side lights and high beams, I can't imagine that both bulbs have gone at once so I suspect that the fuse has blown.
I don't know where to find the fuse and have no manual - can someone describe in words of one syllable where I can find the fuse to change it?

Not sure if this is maybe a newer Astra but might apply ,I would double check bulbs .
