2002 Vauxhall Astra astra sxi 1.6 in limp mode help needed asap please

Hi wondering if someone could please help I have an astra sxi 1.6 2002 that keeps going into limp mode sometimes from cold start will sometimes go off if switch engine off and back on but then after 5\10mins back on again had it at garage and they testes it saying fault on throttle peddle so had that changed no joy :( so back to the garage test again said fault fuel valve this time so had that changed and guess what no joy had it back to garage again not happy at this point and they tested again and saying throttle pedal and fuel valve retested again it always says one or the other any help please I'm going mad car still drives but restricted power

It's up to the garage that diagnosed the fault (wrongly)and charged you for the repairs to sort it out .Either that or get another garage to check out .Assume not a Vauxhall dealership ?
