Using to much petrol and milage range is not accurate and oil light is coming on more often but has plenty of oil in the engine

Maybe faulty oil pressure switch,

Best bet is to get a diagnostic scan carried out .If a cyl weak / not firing correctly it would explain poor mpg and if drop in rpm at idle could also bring on oil light if not a faulty switch .
