2008 Vauxhall Astra warning light and loss of power

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2008
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
My Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Petrol 2008 shows the car and spanner light after about 10-20min driving. The pedal and throttle test reads P0068. Once in a while it also loses power momentarily when accelerating resulting in massive amount of black smoke. I have had it checked severally and the mechanics replaced the two pulleys and timing belt. We also did an oil flush and put Redex for fuel system cleaning. What is this and what can I do? Thanks
