2006 Vauxhall Astra boot light and warning light not working and glove box light

Hi I have a Vauxhall astra 2006 Sri model. My boot warning light don't show up on the dashboard when the boots open also the courtesy light in the boot doesn't work. Before it use to work here and there but now it doesn't work at all. The bulb works as I've tested it but it just don't come on whenever I open the boot. I have the same problem with the glove box courtesy light although when I press the little plastic thing the contact connects and the light comes on but as soon as I let go it goes back off and it also seems like there is something missing that pushes the switch when the glove box is open and then releses when closed to turn the light off. All the other internal courtesy lights work except the one ones mentioned above.
Any help would be appreciated.

It !ustbe the switch that's at fault.
Have you checked for power at the switch in the boot.
Maybe it needs cleaning.
As for the glove box it must be the contact switch if it works when you play with it

I have managed to solve the problem with the glove box courtesy light but not the boot problem. Everything works fine such as the tailgate lights, indicators, when other doors are open warning light comes up and the boot does still open. It's just when the boots open there is no warning on the dashboard and the boot courtesy light doesnt work at all, but I am assuming this is linked to the warning light problem.
Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated.
