i have done an oil change twice can you tell me why the seal im putting on is still leaking

Make sure it's not the o rings on the filter housing/adaptor that are leaking .This shows what I mean .

What seal are you referring to? The seal on the oil filter, did you measure it up with the old one that didn't leak. The thread and filter may be the same but its possible the seal diameter may be different, I doubt oiling the seal would help, but did you do it?

Hi there thanks for the tips but it's the o ring on the filter housing the large one and where I tighten it up it's still leaking from the seal it's exactly the same size as one that came off and I did oil the seal too it's a nightmare just can't stop it leaking
