2007 Vauxhall Astra door light stays on on dashboard

when got into my car the door light on the dashboard indicates that there is a door open , been around car to make sure all doors are shut properly, interior light is off turned engine on and dashboard light still on,

Possibly faulty dr switch,it may be part of the lock assembley.

Spraying the micro switch on door lock mechanism with WD40 often cures fault .
