2008 Vauxhall Astra car thinks key is still in ignition. won't lock

Hello. When I take my key out of the car, the car doesn't seem to be acknowledging it. The radio stays on and when I open the door the door open warning light and sound comes on. I got out anyway and tried to lock the car and it won't lock

Possible faulty ignition switch if it,s not turning off,you could try wiggling it ,see if it changes.
