My car headlights, rear lights have started to go out completely whilst i've been driving approximately 20 mins. All the interior lights, dash board lights and radio still light up - just head lights, side lights and rear lights go off.. Rather dangerous considering the dark nights are here. Auto electrician couldn't diagnose anything as it didn't happen whilst he was there…

When it happened last night I pulled over, waited 10 mins and then when I went to put hazards lights on - the lights came back on…
Help….any ideas why this has started to happen this is dangerous driving home on dark nights….

Check your headlight switch is okay,and connection to it,does sound like a connection issue.

check all possible connections related to the lights as mentioned previuosly also check that to as is a common problem too
