2004 Vauxhall Astra wont start after battery reconnect

had a dead battery put on new one now car wont start. ignition lights up, windows and lights work just wont start. every time I try to start the car the clock and date reset. I think its the immobiliser.

Usually reset due to low battery , sure the battery you fitted is fully charged ?

battery is fully charged and fitted properly
