I can unlock my car with the remote but it will not unlock drivers passengers side but if I get in the car and press the lock on the dash I can open the door also my passengers rear window will not work all other windows are fine I took it to vauazall and that said it needs a full rewire this carnt be true can it?

May be the wiring through door frame into door broken inside , common fault .Pull of door trim and check it out , easy fix normally .

as above sounds like wireing in door shut trunking

Would agree with above ,and if you can repair the wiring you could save cost,unless it,s the actual terminal pin,s that are corroded or missing that may require a door harness to resolve the issue first time fix.
