Car stuttering when accelerating.

2007 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 TURBO SRI
Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2007
Variant: 1.6 TURBO SRI
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
The car has always ran smoothly but over the last month has started to 'stuttter' when accelerating between gear changes, only seems to be happening in 3rd-6th gear.

It started off with one or two 'jumps', then stopped as the engine warmed but has recently become a lot worse, with several jumps during acceleration and not clearing when the engine is warm.

I have recently filled the tank and used redex, in the hope of it being dirty fuel but it only seems to be getting worse.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Colin.
