Vauxhall Astra electrics /car cuts out

Hey everyone just bought a astra on a 2001 plate have a couple of problems hoping you can help me with first one is my stereo some times cuts out and the electric windows wont work then if i pull over turn the car off then turn the ignition just slightly before it actually starts the car it will work then as soon as its started off it goes again its very annoying also some times the car just cuts off if i stop after i have been traveling its not every time quite rare but still annoying and strange any ideas please guys ?

Sounds like faulty ignition switch , quite a common fault on that car

ok but its only the windows and stereo that cuts out the engine rarely cuts out window wipers still work and fan still think it could be the switch just want to be sure before i buy a new one :)

Impossible for me to tell for sure from here . You need to get an auto electrician to check and verify if the switch is faulty if you want to be certain .By all means it could be something else .
