Sounds like you need injector seals rather than cam box cover gasket .

theres no diesel just oil stillgetting good mpg could it be a blocked breather or other causing pressure build up or the 4 rubber gaskets not seated right

Probably not sitting/fitted correctly you could try refitting them and make sure they are round the injectors properly.
