2002 Vauxhall Astra control indicator for engine electronics lights up

Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 2002
Variant: 1.7 dti 2002.
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
I was told it was a faulty airflow meter.
I changed it but light stays on.
The car runs and starts beautiful. The light annoys me though. Shop won't replace airflow meter and I can't afford to have it tested again. Any ideas?

Did you get the engine management light reset after fixing ?

The mobile mechanic was going to reset it but said the fault persists. He said the meter must be faulty.

Disconnect air flow meter and see if it affects engine running , if it does should be o.k . If it doesn't make any difference , usually knackered .
