Windsceen washers work but takes a long time before water arrives. I think its a blocked non return valve. But dont know where to find it.

On some cars there is a filter on the pump that can get clogged up with soap and the like .If you cant find the non return valve you can buy a universal one from the likes of Halfords or any decent accessory shop .Just cut the hose and fit .

Would agree that it,s probably the mesh filter at your pump that,s choked.
