WHEN I CHANGE GEAR IN ASTRAVAN IT ISNT THAT EASY TO CHANGE GEAR AS IDLING TOO HIGH , ANY IDEAS WOULD BE APPRECIATED

could be a deceleration valve. opperate the lever that the accelerator cable goes to. release it and see how quickley the lever returns.you should see a valve with apin that slows the lever. i had same with a peugeot and just took yhe valve off.

Have you checked for any fault codes that could help.

Does that car have an accelerator cable ?

No it don,t,it,s fly by wire.

? OK FOR ABOUT FEW MINS BUT THEN IT STARTS PLAYING UP , I DONT HAVE ACCELORATOR CABLE AS ITS ALL DONE THROUGH ELECTRICS. HAVE NO IDEA WITH ALL THE ELECTRICAL SIDE OF ENGINE - GIVE ME AN OLD VAN AND CAN FIX ANYTHING BUT NEWER VANS ARE SO COMPLICATED.
WHERE IS THE ANTI STALL DEVICE AND HOW TO SORT ELECTRIC ACCELORATOR ? I APPRECIATE REPLY M8
