2001 Vauxhall Astra indicator lights not working

Hi wondered if anyone can help brought this car friday evening satarday could only get into it by manually unlocking the driver door had no power whatsoever finally got it started after connecting jump leads to my other car and leaving it to charge for a while since then i have had a diagnostics which showed nothing and says the battery is ok the fuses have been checked also now i still have to jump start it to get it started and the indicators dont work at all had someone who is good with wiring look at it and brought the manual but still cant work it out anyone have any ideas thanks

I would get the battery load tested , could be a weak / dud cell .May also need to get alternator output tested Indicator fault may be indicator relay ( flasher unit )Or it may be a drain on battery .

Is the earth lead intact from battery to chassis to engine? Just something else to check.and if you are sure the battery is okay you could try carring out a test for current draw using a amp setting on a multimeter incase something is drawing the system down I.e. an internal short inside a motor or winding.and trace it by removing fuses for individual circuits or disconnection of suspect components.

I took the car to a garage its defiantly not the battery he changed the flasher its not that he recons its the mother board thats blown so wondering if that were the case would the car even start and would there be lights he said the board would cost 200 plus extras is this even possible?

Did you get this problem sorted as I have the same indicator problem after I jump started my Astra ?
