2002 Vauxhall Astra windscreen wiper---major issue

My front windscreen wipers stopped working so i changed the relay. This didnt solve the problem so i assumed it would be the motor. Before changing it i noticed that the rear wiper also wasnt working. What could it be? The issue now is i have no windscreen wipers front ot back and my interior lights have not come on when the doors are open? Any ideas?

Sorry to high light the obvious, but I assume you have located and checked all the relevant fuses?

You may have two diferrent faults . Check to see if you are getting power to each motor first .There may be broken wiring at the rear where it paases into the boot / tailgate .

Just to say in your under bonnet fuse box the fuse is sometimes hidden under a small black cover which can sometimes be missed if you are unfamiliar with the set up.
