2005 Vauxhall Astra engine management lite on goes into limp mode

It started with engine management lite on then the lite with the car and spanner came on and you can't get anymore than 3 thousand revs from the car. I've had about four different mechanics look at it including an auto electrician,also had the ecu tested all my injectors tested all wheel speed sensors tested and nothing wrong with any thing.can any one help its been goin on for about ten weeks now and really doing my head in please help me

Thanks very much for that idea has done some good getting egr cleaned out but engine management light still on permanently ??any further ideas as to what this problem could be ?

Had same problem. It is the map sensor,
