2011 Vauxhall Astra whining when accellerating and reverse gear problem

when I accelerate in first gear it gives a whining noise and when reverse is selected with the clucth fully depressed it always makes a metal cruching noise and I have tried every method to solve this and it does not work, could you tell me what is wrong please

on a 2011 it should be covered under vaux warrenty take it to them trying to fix it your self may void any warrenty
