2000 Vauxhall Astra electrical fault/s

I have a problem with the electrics in my vauxhall astra 2000.
At times when i turn my car on their will be no problem. Most of the time i now turn it on and the ABS light shows on its own, when this happens the speedo no longer works. When in wet conditions the wet/slippery road light comes on with the ABS light, in this case the speedo is working fine. The engine management light has not come on at any point.
All seems very strange and beyond my limited knowledge, would appreciate any help. Thankyou

I would suggest to have it checked out by an auto electrician.
