the control valve is located by the intake carbouretta and this is located underneath the plastic engine cover and should be located along the left side of the air pot as the face the vehicle, simply spray either brake cleaner, release oil or oils like WD40 will help ease problems with the valve, if the revs are eratic at all the idle valve will need to be adjusted on a mechanics hand held ecu control box and this can help eradicate high reving or sticking.
