2002 Vauxhall Astra losing power :(

happens in 3/4 gear, get to 3000 revs and then the car will start to stutter and then the revs and power will just slowely drop although i have my foot down on the accelerator still :\? anyone had any problems the same?

May need to get car scanned for any faults. Sounds like it may be going into limp mode...

I also have this problem. My car makes noise too. Can you explain this 'limp mode' further?
