2002 Vauxhall Astra engine electronics light

when the car is started engine electronics light dose not go out for about 5mins and if u switch it of and start again it dose the same and now the preheating light has stoped working but still starts fine i have had a code reader pluged in and it says no faults so if any 1 can help me fix this problem it would be greatful

the electrics light means electrical fault in car,it covers more than the engine. transmission abs etc so if code reading make sure scanner covers all systems as some only cover engine codes
