Off Side Indicator Stays on Static when Engine Off & Green Warn Light Appears on Dash.

1999 Vauxhall Astra 1.6 Club Estate Mk4
Car: Vauxhall Astra
Year: 1999
Variant: 1.6 Club Estate Mk4
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Recently i have been experiancing occasionally the indicator light staying on when flicked to the right. This stays on when ignition switched off and key taken out (both the actual indicators back & front plus the arrow indicator on dash).

Then when i restart engine and flick indicator left it produces what i believe to be a green flashing warning light which looks something like a "Tow Bar!" (not very informative as to indicating a problem especially when i dont have a tow bar).

I hope someone can help me out on this as i can normally search net and find an answer but no joy on this...(also dont have a hand book that may shed some light)...

Thanks for your time on looking into this...

I would possibly start with the flasher relay itself, this always has a permanent feed due to the hazard warning lights have to work with no keys in the ignition.

Hope this helps...
