2003 Vauxhall Astra drivers seat

hi maybe a silly question but i cant get the drivers seat to go forward for passengers....it slides back and forth but soesnt fold forward....would appreciate some help as im fed up going to garages these days haha

SORRY......also is there anything i can do to stop the sticking/clunking of the rear of the car in cold weather? I usualy just go into reverse then 1st but its annoying.

Probably need a new seat release cable .If the clonking goes away after going into 1st / reverse , it may be a sticking brake or cable .
