2000 Vauxhall Astra my car is trying to turn over but not starting,my bat is fine so its not that.could any 1 help?

does the engine turn over at the normal speed?

Try the egr valve mate the initial mixture required to start the engine is VERY important and if the valve is stuck open the engine would take alot of effort to start and considering this is a common problem on these engines due to the valve being coked up and sticking and in my own experience this fault does'nt nessecerily throw up a fault code start there mate

As " Mr Suzuki" asked , is the car turning over at normal speed or turning slowly ? We need that info to try and offer you a solution .
