wife complained her car overheated when i checked it everything visually was ok coolant level ok. electric fan working at around 92 temp ok all hoses hot . i changed the temp sensor on the engine and drained cooling system and refilled heaters work ok i dont think there is an air lock but engine is still running very hot between 90 100 degree's when driving can also hear the fan kick in at about 93 degree's. could it be the thermostat?.

It's possible thermostat sticking but would think you would get more overheating resulting in coolant header tank level and gauge showing signs . Fan seems to be working o.k also and no coolant loss. Could be partially blocked rad. try flushing , may help .
