Going into gear with no clutch

clutch failed at traffic lights then there was a bang and can now select all gears without depressing clutch with engine running and speedometer shows doing 10 mph to 33 mph with gears selected is the gear box done for as a mobile mecanic seems to think its just the slave cylinder

Could be the clutch /DMF has shattered , If it was the slave cyl . it's inside also , so you have to pull everything out to replace any way .All part of the one job .

Hi. this happened to me last week and it turned out to be the clutch that needed replaced.
