2006 Vauxhall Astra lack of power

Check plugs / coil pack.

Already changed plugs how much will a coil pack set me back regards

Price varies on model / year etc . Usually get an idea if you check on E-bay .

Hi mine does the same thing in high revs, people have told me it could be my plugs or ht leads any suggestions how i can resolve this issue, i get told daily to "get a new car" but my love for astra g is massive :(

my car is a 1.7 diesel astra when i set off in it, it has no power until it reaches about 3000 rpm then it seems ok but it happens in every gear, also, i was on the motorway last night an the engine management light came on an the power started to drop from 70mph to 50 mph while my foot was all the way down,

please help im supposed to be driving to london in a few days
