spluttering then car cut out will not start had breakdown out could not find fault give me a report in report he put down it could be ecu unit or fuel pump no diesel getting through. Please help me

had one in last mouinth turned out to be fuel pump loads o money i would start with seeing how far fuel is getting ?filter primer or all the way to the hp pump realy a main dealer or diesel specialist jobb
