Vauxhall Astra judder/misfire 35-40mph

Hi just a quick one.
Only had this car for 2 months its done just under 16k since new.
Problem i've got is when driving the car between 30-40mph more around 35-40mph the car seems to bounce/judder/misfire. It doesn't do it when accelerating through them speeds only when driving at 35-40mph at a constant speed.
Vauxhall say it likely to be the EGR I think its called valve.
Any had this nd no what to do?

If the car is 2009 and has only done 16,000 mls , should be still under warranty .If they say EGR valve needs replacing get them to carry out under waranty .

They have replaced the EGR Valve under warranty, it's stil under warranty and has been with them now for 4 days. They've had various mechanics drive it, take it home with them. Even after the new EGR Valve has gone in it is still doing it.
The only plus side is they have told me the mechanic has experienced the problem I have reported when he took it home with him to give it a good run.
They are saying they are going to have to get another Astra Active 1.4i brought in and have also called on a senior tech as they are saying it is a rare car and they haven't dealt with any of these!!
At one stage they said it may just be the car, but when i'm driving at 50mph on a motorway in roadwork contraflow it's bloody dangerous getting jarred back and forth!! :(

" it may just be the car " ,rubbish .The fact that the mechanic experienced the fault will help you no end . Very occasionally I had to get a expert from the factory to fly up and road test a car to try to diagnose fault .He then communicated direct with others in factory to a satisfactorily result for customer prevailed . Keep at them till you get it sorted out and you are happy with outcome .All the best .

Finally sorted.
Should have posted this a few months back.
Was driving to Glasgow from Liverpool for an overnight stay.
RAC called out on way up and way down.
Engine warning light and poor perfromance.
1st guy said youve got coil pack misfire readings and random misfire. Excellent.!!
Reset and sent on way.
return journey home next day RAC out again same problem, same readings.
Car in straight with Vauxhall next day.
They fitted a brand new coil pack (under warranty) and all problems fixed.
My judder I reported has even stopped with the new coil pack!! Strange how that was never detected when it was in for judder problem!

I have the same car with the exact same problems,
this only happens after the car has driven 1 mile from being cold,
Was this the same with your's
I've been told it's the egr that needs replaced.
