2006 Vauxhall Astra losing power

a couple of times recently i've been on the road when the car has lost power momentarily and the Abs light has began flashing. it only lasts 2 or 3 seconds and the power comes back. Any ideas?

nothing you will be able to do sorry. need to be code read. fault with anti lock brake system
