Changing gears problem starts after a few miles(5?) Gear changing while car not running no roblem. Seems to make gear change easier if ypu make the change in 2 posative motions, into neutral then next gear.

check the master and the slave cylindrs for leaks. if there is a leak you could be pushing the fluid out of the cylinders when you press the clutch. also tere could be a problem with the echanical part of the cluthc inside the bellhousing.
