Vauxhall Agila Door Lock Problems

Problems mentioning the Door Lock on the Vauxhall Agila
Battery went flat due too not useing vehicle, fitted new battery, when i turn the key i get no dash warning lights only main beam warning light staying on, the engine turns over but dosent start

What problems can be caused by a faulty Door Lock?

Door is difficult to open and close

The door does not open or close cleanly, it appears to stick or not clear the locking mechanism completely.

Door lock does not work

When locking or unlocking the car the door in question doesn't lock or unlock correctly whilst the others do.
