2013 Vauxhall ADAM electrical failure on start

All dashboard lights on until you turn key to start then everything goes out (we put a new battery on it.)leve it for a short while and it will start and run fine for a day or 2.

If new battery is fully charged , sounds like bad battery terminals , connections or earths . But ignition switch , starter wiring / terminals are another option
