2016 Vauxhall ADAM my car is saying i have done 54000 miles when it was 31000 before it got frosty it also tells me i'm doing 70mph when i am doing 30

My car is dash is saying I have 54000 miles on clock but not long ago it was 31000 this started during cold weather also the digital speedometer is saying 70 mph when the needle is at 30 again during cold weather

Could be a faulty VSS ( vehicle speed sensor ) or instrument cluster fault . Sometimes removing a battery terminal for a few mins and refitting can reboot / reset umpteen different faults , but long shot
