2016 Vauxhall ADAM problem gear shift

It's my daughters car intermittently during long drives the car won't go in any gear. Car collected by tow truck taken to local garage and he can't find any issues. It's happened twice but when I drive car all seems ok albeit gearbox a little clunky but can select all gears. My daughter mentioned she thought clutch pedal was lower when she has had issues. I've heard of lifting clutch back to top, air in system, slave cylinder. So frustrating as intermittent and I do not want my daughter to have the same issue in the future

If they cant replicate the fault , hard to find a solution .More than likely could need a new clutch assembly , possibly diaphragm worn

My partner’s Adam is doing the same thing , thought it was maybe air in the system but I don’t think so now, have you managed to find the issue ? Cheers

My daughters car suffering the same symptoms… She turned car off then on and also “lifted” the clutch pedal up, and eventually after a few more attempts, she managed to get the car in gear and drive home. Most unsatisfactory… car has only done 18k miles

My sons car has done this too, but the mechanic cannot find anything wrong. Has anyone solved the problem on their car and can give me some advice? Thank you

My daughter's is a 2019 Adam with only 8000 miles with same problem... had new clutch, master slave cylinder, etc, only for it to last 5 days with exactly same symptoms... Gararge have changed spring on clutch pedal but to no avail. Car back with them now but do t seem to have any answers ?

You would think Vauxhall would have solved this fault by now , lots of similar complaints .
