2005 Toyota Avensis rear main light not working passengerside (and its not the bulb)

rear main light not working passenger side only it is not the bulb tried that what else could it be all the other lights work fine the caseing appears ok any ideas please

does the n/s/f side lamp work if not it will be a fuse

Assume you mean tail light ? if so see if you are getting power to lamp / bulb.
